Assuming this action culminates in foreclosure, of course you'll be able to own a home again. It will just take some time. Rebuilding your credit will be necessary.
Depending upon the type of loan you have, you may be eligible for a number of workout options that your lender has not yet explored with you.
You might try contacting the workout department in your lender's camp as a first line of defense in getting your loan back on track...even at this stage in the game.
There are other approaches to remedy that can also be explored but each will come with their own cost, which in the end...might be well worth the expense.
