An automobile loan should not even be a question at this juncture if you are serious about fixing the situation you've created.

The only reason I asked this is because we currently have an automobile loan that was not filed with Ch. 13 due to it being linked to my husbands work. We are always looking to lower every payment we have, and this is one of them. So if the chnce should arise that I have to lower my car note, I was wondering if I would be able to, since I know I was told to come back when my Ch. 13 had been dismissed last time we tried.

I finally got my lawyer to call me back so I think I have a much more clearer picture of what lies ahead. It's a few years of work, but not forever and gives us an opportunity to rebuild what the past two years has done.

I beg people out there...as I saw some slashing through here when I was searching. Don't bash someone for losing their home or finally bnkrptcy. Not everyone does because they chose to live lavish lifestyles. Alot of people have been hit hard over the past few years, and were hit with circumstances beyond their control. It's hard enough to ask for help, and let your pride slip a bit. So give us a break.
