My home is deliquent by 10 months. I lost my job and my husband and I filed a Chapter 13. The bank would not tell us anything until a motion of stay was released on the mortgage. Now that it is lifted, our home has gone into foreclosure and the sale is next Tuesday. We have a little in a 401 K program but so far have not been able to get it out as the bank is taking it's time on getting us the information we need to withdraw it for hardship reasons. It might be just enough to save it. We have a 15 year at 6.5% and the bank may let us go to a 30 year. But is there any way we can delay the sale. We are literally facing homelessness. I never thought somethingl like this would happen to us.
