You might consider listing the property for sale immediately. As CA foreclosure processing time generally runs 5-6 months on average, there appears to be time left to sell.
If your interest is in retaining the property, you might first contact your lender's loss mitigation department for assistance in workout.
If you are finding it difficult to penetrate your lender's gatekeepers, or you have limited time and/or knowledge of putting together a forbearance proposal, you might solicit the services of an organization to assist you in securing remedy.
Bankruptcy is always an option but should be used as a last resort.
