I'm a first time buyer who knows nothing (only little info. picked up from the Internet, but don't understand it much) about foreclosure and how soon can they take your home. Here is a brief history on my life and home. As I mentioned before I have lived at my current residence for over three years now and have fallen behind recently and frequently on my mortgage payment due to financial reasons. My husband & I caught up on our past delinquency but have found ourselves once again behind for 3 months now (3 payments behind). We are afraid of loosing our home. We are thinking of filling Chapter 13 due to our financial lose. We currently have only one source of income and I have little side jobs (catalog sales). I have read on Chapter 7, I feel I might get rejected by the courts on bankruptcy due to delinquent payment on my mortgage. Now, Chapter 13 seems a little more toward our case, right? In addition, our vehicle was repossesses about a month ago. We have horrible credit. I have worked out payment plans but obviously we are not able to keep them current. Our other solution was to sale the home...but can we purchase again? Anyhow, its about 2am, ca time, and I might be rebelling on, so I will now conclude my letter...please help? Please? I'm only 26 years old and feel very venerable.
