Foreclosure in Bankruptcy Ques

Because our pay decreased $30,000 this year, we are filing chapter7, including our house (we tried to sell with no sucess).Because the house is included in the chaper 7, will it be handled different than just a foreclosure? What will the eviction procedures be like, we live in Texas? We are filing in Dec. Also, how long until we can purchase another house? I have heard 2 to 3 years, is this correct? This is a very stressful time. Thanks for your help!
