You are only at the beginning stage of the foreclosure proceedings. Call your lender and see if they will work out a payment plan with you. You have a lot of time to work this out. Is your loan a VA loan? Do not wait too long like I did, because you will regret it if you love your house and truly want to save it. Do whatever you have to, work extra hours, give up extra treats for awhile and do what you have to do to get that paid. You are at a place where you can save it, but you have to work for it.
