Currently I'm looking at a foreclosure in Alameda County, and I wanted to make sure there were no tax liens on the property. I seem to recall that tax liens (for some reason) are not listed in the County Recorders Office with everything else. When I did the search at the County Recorders Office, all the records of default came up, but it was clean with respect to any tax liens. That's when I started worrying that they were listed somewhere else. If there were any tax liens would they show up under their name at the Recorder's Office? Thanks again.neil
