IS IT LEGAL TO RE-SELL FORECLOSED HOME TO PREVIOUS OWNER????

Is it legal in the state of Texas to buy a home that is about to be foreclosed on, and come back and re-sell it to the same owner????
If so....what is the procedure????
Is there a period of time I need to wait before re-selling it???
I'm thinking of contacting the owners when they're on the pre-foreclosure state and make a deal with them.
If I can stop the foreclosure they will sell the house to me, and in return I will sell the house back to them for a profit (small....not greedy)of course (couple of thousand).
Please advice.
