Interesting, I also had my broker try to get my husband and I to sign false documents and get them notorized. Said they couldn't do the loan with out it. When I said I wanted to run the paperwork by my attorney (don't even have one but....) the tune changed. I was told exactly this "Oh that's okay we can probably get by without them. Just go ahead and throw them away" They want you to sign them and you will be the only one in trouble. They will play dumb.
