Does anyone know whether the formr owner of a property located in California which was sold at a foreclosure sale is entitled to a thirty day or sixty day notice to quit where the former owner is in possession? Does the notice period depend upon whether the owner lived there for a year or more (60 days) or less than a year (thirty days)? Do you know the California Code Section? Is a three day notice to quit ever appropriate to a former owner after foreclosure? Thanks
