: : PLEASE HELP ME FIND THE ANSWER AS TO GETTING ALL MY PERSONAL PROPERTY RETURNED TO ME. Yes my home was in foreclosure but WAMU told me they would allow me 30 days to try and sale it. I did find someone to purchase it and since that point the bank with is Well's Fargo and there title company let WAMU's attorney know it was in the process ie: servey, inspection and so on. Since this was taking place and I was not living there the owner would contact me when it was time to close. : : Well fanny mae gave century 21 permission to go into my and take all the personal belongs which, was everything ie: kids cloths arloom grandfather clock, washer and dryer, motorcycle, tools, along 2 gas BBQ pits, patio furniture and much much more. I call the women whom had this arrange and she has told me all of those items had been disposed of and she doesn't know what happened to all of it although she was seen by my neigbhors when it took place. I am raising 3 boys on my own and can't afford to hire an attorney. Can someone please help me and explain to me what I can to to get all personal belongs returned. *******************************************************Fannie mae does not have legal right to let anyone in the home without court approval. Check the court records and see if there was court action for anyone to go into the house. Next if you had moved out and the electricity meter was gone and the utilites were off it would mean you abandoned the house and if they did not know where to contact you they had no choice but to set the items out for you to pick up. If you did not pick them up within a certain time frame the court would allow them to be destroyed or sold as rummage or whatever. You should have stayed in the house until it was foreclosed on. So as a starting point you need to check the court house to see if they filed an eviction notice.
