looking to buy a foreclosed home in Ca

We are tried of renting and for the amout of rent we pay we can only qualify to get a 1 bedroom condo.. that wont work with having a small child. So we started looking into forclosed homes. We've seen many but we only have just about nothing saved in the bank. I lost my job when I was 5 months pregnant so I havent been working for the last 11 months. Is there a serious lender for buying forclosed homes?
