MN-Need info on the WRIT OF RECOVERY process

WE have not been served a summons yet..
we did get a letter of intent from the people who have the house now stating that they have started the process

The reason i ask is we have the house packed up and a new place to rent but the new place does not open up until May 27th and our legal document stating we can stay ends APril 30th

so i am wondering if we just get the house down to the beds and clothes on our backs if we can just wait for the knock at the door so even when it comes would only take us like 30 min to gather the rest of our stuff and be out
