RMink,

Geez, I was just in Cleveland for 5 days.

I’m guessing you’re wondering what to do next, right? Well I’d try
one more phone call, but this time to the bank’s ombudsman.
That will allow you to break through the bank’s red tape, with a
consumer champion on the inside working to help you solve your
run-around with the bank.

Failing that, or perhaps in conjunction with it, you might get more
attention if you just visited the bank in person. Ask for the loan
mitigation or workout department.

Hope this helps,

: I live in Ohio. I have repeatly sent a workout sheet via fax and
snail mail. Friday I got a hold of a rep at the bank and she told me
additional info was needed. SHe also stated even if I got caught
up under OHio law the bank had the right to begin foreclosure at
any time and also just because I faxed and mailed the info they
requested did not mean they would acknowledge it. She hung up
when I requested to speak to a supervisor.
