In a nutshell yes. Basiclly because she has defaulted on the loan by failing to make 3 payments Countrywide can demand the default amount be paid in full and if it isn't then they can reposses (foreclose) the property and auction it to recoup the loan amount. I am a loan broker and my niche is foreclosure prevention and you do have other options. One that would allow you to keep your home and possibly get cash out. Your credit doesn't matter, your employment history doesn't matter and your mortgage payment history doesn't even matter. Give me a call or email me ASAP and I can get a better idea for your situation and let you know if I can help you within 10 minutes. I won't need any paperwork or personal information just information about your property.
