I am currently in ch 13 bankruptcy, but due to my attorney's negligence, it appears the bk will be dismissed. When this happens, my house will definitely go into foreclosure. We have two lienholders, one is the mortgage company and the other is a property tax loan service. Is anyone familiar with Texas foreclosure laws and what happens? We'd like to sell the house but are not sure we can get what is owed. I really would like to just walk away and rent a home for a couple of years until we are back on our feet. Any advice?
