I finally got a hold of someone in Texas....well, I left a message. they called me back and left a message on my machine. They said that they received notice yesterday and that the file was closed. Made me feel better but I have heard horror stories of bank errors and all the bad things that happen because of it. Do you think I should ask my lender to fax something over to me showing that in fact the loan has been reinstated and I am current?
I am not sure how all of it happens, since this is the first time we have been behind. The title company stated on the message that the file was "closed" but I guess a part of me is not trusting that. Like I said, errors happen and I want to handle it before something bad happens out of my control. Do you think I am safe at this point?
