mortgage sold while in forclosure? OHIO

I checked on the county's web site (OHIO-Lake County) (recorder) It said my mortgage was "assigned" from OSB to wells fargo. What does this mean? I called wells fargo and nothing is showing in their records. It all happened on 2-13-06. Also, my taxes for the first halfp were paid, not by me...but by who? (Ohio savings?) They were due by 2-18-06.
Does this mean that the foreclosure that Ohio saving bank is going to stop and that wells fargo will now go after me?
I am totally confused here.
