Difference in Dates

I received a notice in the mail yesterday about the foreclosure on my house and property. However the announcement was in the paper last week and it stated that the auction is May 15. The mortage company said I had until June 10 to move. These dates don't make sense. If the auction is May 15, won't the new owner be in shortly after that, not after June 10? How long do I actually have to leave? May 15 or June 10? Any clarification would be appreciated.
