My husband and I just found out that our house is going to be sold on May 10th without prior notification. The mortgage company says that we are behind on more payments than we actually are. We are getting our records from the bank, and we are afraid that it may take longer than May 10th to straighten everything out. Is there anything that we can do to stop the sale of our house. We live in Kentucky. We were also told that we have a VA loan when we signed to papers for our house and signed many documents saying that this was a VA loan. All of which we have. VA came and inspected the house and we paid a VA funding fee, but when we called VA to find out why they had not notified us that our house was going to be sold, they said that we do not have a VA loan. Any advice or information would help! Thanks
