I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice. My husband and I bought a house last year through a va loan for 140,000, even though we knew we were stretching ourselves too thin. it has been a struggle to pay the mortgage every month. His contract Job is ending this week. He did find another job in another bordering state, which we are happy about. We have missed april's morgage payment. We are waiting until thursday to see if our mortgage company will give us another loan on a less expensive house. what do you think our chances are? We don't have any other options. Wouldn't be in everyone's best interest or would the mortgage company rather foreclose? I am really getting anxious about this. any thoughts on this would be most appreciated. Thank You.
