It all depends on the lender.
Today, more and more lenders market their REO's
through real estate brokers. Use the broker/agent
contact information shown in the listings. Get
to know some of the brokers/agents in your area
that regularly market foreclosures.
Just read a post about success an investor had
sitting down and talking with the REO Manager at
a bank. You can't do this all the time. You can't
do it everywhere or with every bank. Some lenders
however, will work with you directly.
