If anyone tries to tell you they can remove derogatory information off your report, that is just not true!!! If the information is not correct, sure it can be removed. IF YOU PAY WHAT YOU OWE, YOU CAN ASK THE LENDER, COLLECTION AGENCY OR WHOEVER TO REMOVE IT, THEY MIGHT AND THEY MIGHT NOT. BUT ITS WORTH A TRY. Contact your nearest non profit housing counseling agency in your area. They will go over your credit report with you and tell you what you can do yourself to repair your credit. This is a FREE SERVICE, USE IT.
