unsatisfied with repayment agreement

Posted by t shaw on October 29, 2002 at 10:06:27:

We defualted on our 2nd and the loan changed hands 2 weeks before sale was scheduled.( we had been trying to work somthing out with prior handler) OUt of desperation to not lose our home we agreed to a repayment plan. Countrywide told us that the only plan they could offer us since we live in Oregon is a month to month plan wilth absolutly no grace period.( I now know that this is not true after doing some investigating myself) So, now our sale is just moved 30 days every month. WE still get letters from realators, a couple just showed up at our home the other day. We do not want to sell our home we want to save it. But we dont feel we can breath. Its as if we are still being punished for falling behind. Countrywide is unable to take a westtern union from us because of our account# So we are expected to send overnight which runs us another 30.00 a month (things are very tight) and with no grace period I am relying on the postal service. Scary! How can I get country wide to change this plan? I couldnt afford overnight this month had to send regular mail, they have not received payment 2 days late already recived call saying house is set for sale on the 15th. This is an ulcer creating situation. Any suggestions? we have been on this plan since the june.
