I purchased our home before my husband and I were married. Now our home is in foreclosure. This ordeal has been going on for over a year now and I haven't heard from their attorney since June. We have all the money to make the payments but do not feel we should pay their other fees. I believe it was their mixup that started all this in the first place. They applied a payment to our escrow rather than a payment. Part of our payment already goes to escrow. We were behind a month according to them for months. Anyway, my husband and I want to take our saved payments and buy some property. It would be paid for in full. I am soooo sick of payments. We want to get back to basics. If I have to live in a tent I don't care. At least noone can take it. If we purchased this property, could the mort. co. put a lien on it if it were in my husbands name and not mine. He is not on this home loan anywhere. Sorry about all the ranting and raving but our life has been on hold for a year now and it is very frustrating. Especially, when we feel this wasn't our fault to begin with. By the way I'm in Washington state. Thanks alot!
