And the part about conntacting the owners.... I called the phone numbers that were in the phone book for the name-names listed in the foreclosure notice but could not get anyone to answer.

Should I go to the front door? And I've heard that once the notice of foreclosure hits the paper the banks tend to shut down and refuse to negotiate... Is this common
