Income 2 debt ratio aside, how good does ur credit have 2B?

In order to get a bank to finance you in "assisting" people out of their homes? Do you have to have a personal relationship with a banker? Do you have to be a certain age? Race? Religion? SERIOUSLY. I've noticed that some people get all the credit they want, regardless of payment history, and some get hardly any. I work at a car dealership, so I see these credit reports, and they just don't realistically correlate, unless there is some "hidden factor" to granting credit.
