Thanks Nick... I have done a little more research, but need to do a bit more... I find this all very suspicous...

-In this fellows Feedback, one member states he cancels bids and bids on his own auction with another name.

-The property is in foreclosure, and California Family Trust LLC is listed as the Trustee, however, I have yet to find a llc filing anywhere with this name, much less in California.

-This Trustee would not provide me a name or address, Email & phone only.

-He did want a blind deposit into a bank account. Would not accept monies in person, or Escrow.

-The auction was a "private auction" masking the bidders identity, so you cannot know who won.

It seemed as if he was scaring me off, which he did. The auction ended with the property selling for 9000.00. It was worth 40k on a bad day. I am thinking about going back to the county, and getting copies of the public notice. Is there such thing as an improper notice/sale? Manditory disclosures? It just sticks in my crawl a bit... I think this guy is a fraud, scamming through ebay to get foreclosed properties by scaring people off... Then again maybe I should let it go... What do you think???

Thanks again...
