speed on California law as Ward, or some of the others here. I think
that it is possible to use a private (non-county) trustee under
California law? But private trustee sales are fairly uncommon. Again
my suggestion is to call or visit the -county- trustee's office
to check on the disposition of the property in question. Also
check the recorders office in a few days and do a search on the
chain of title.
