In California, a secured lender CAN complete a non-judicial foreclosure on a trust deed (mortgage) despite the fact that the original borrower is deceased. While I can't speak for other states, I do have a Special Report that has become a standard reference guide for probate attorneys here. Please go to our website and click on the "foreclosure" link. I hope some of the ideas apply to your State, too.
