NEED HELP IN NJ !!!

My house is going to sheriff's sale tomorrow 2/13/03
can I still file Chap. 13 after the sale..? or would I just be wasting the $185 filing fee.

Second, I understand in NJ the redemption period is 10 days.
if I do not file Chap. 13 will the Sheriff's Dept. evict me from the home in exactly 10 days or can I get more time to move my personal property..?
