They want to pay a little over the amount owed on my mortgage loan. I am just unsure of everything these days and wanted to know if there are any bad business practices or red flags I should watch for.....Partner with me?...Split the equity?...: I do not understand how you will have any "money" from the equity if your house "goes to auction?" Ask the investor to partner with you and get them to split the equity with you when they purchase it.
: : I am going through a very ugly divorce and my house is scheduled for aution on July 1. I have been contacted by an investment company about purchasing my home. The only money I have left is a very large amount of equity in my home and I was depending on that to get on with my life. I do not know what to expect from the investor and am afraid of trusting them. Can anyone give me some sort of guide line to follow as far as what to expect?
