The process of making application for a loan modification requires borrower participation, and unmitigated cooperation throughout the ordeal. That's one reason why it's called a work out.
Borrowers who seek a painless process and then fail to make required telephone calls, complete application forms, or otherwise fail in their needed participation.... are bound to be disappointed.
Borrowers who retain third party "specialists" must be diligent in keeping themselves apprised by calling the lender for status updates, and remaining in contact with the specialist.
There are no shortcuts. Results require full disclosure, hard work, and team work.
