What would you do?

I am about to enter my 3rd month of non payment on my
home. I was laid off in early Dec. I get UI but it is far from enough to make all of the bills. I did not buy outside of my income but I did run up some cc
debt, which most of it is current. We have also had
some major medical expenses. I was hurt on the job
in '03 and had surgery in '07 and again last Aug.
I am expecting a settlement of some kind and I could
catch up the MTG. However I do not see being able to
earn the ammount I would need that in the long run I
would still be unable to keep up with the payments,
utilities and all the rest.
I am affraid of ending up without an income and still
being foreclosed on and then being homeless.
