Depending on the state that the property is located, it could be months before you are evecited.You will probably be able to stay for a while without paying rent, so that should offset your security deposit.

You may also be able to use the new federal laws that compel the bank to honor your lease after foreclosure.

Bottom line, you in good shape.

You can find out the status of the foreclosure by checking with the county clerk or sheriff.
