Steele makes a good point that violating the terms of your lease can negate it and many of your tenant rights.
If you want to maintain those rights but don't know who to pay the rent to, open a separate account at your bank for the rent payments. Each month you can pay the rent, on time, directly into that account.
If latter there is an attempt to evict you, you can go before a judge and show that you have paid the rent, but you just didn't know who to pay it too.
The judge will probably require that those monies be turned over to the proper party. Eventually, If no one makes a claim to the money, it is yours.
Keep in mind, Pres. Obama Signed a New Federal Law Protecting Renters after Foreclosure. Under the Helping Families Save Their Homes Act,tenants have the right to stay in their homes after foreclosure for 90 days or through the term of their lease. The new federal law also provides that the lease survives the foreclosure
