NJD is correct. About the only chance for a delay would be a voluntary one by the lender. And that is unlikely.
We regularly work with short sale on both the buying and selling side. If there is a solid offer and the bank has had ample time to review delays are common. We regularly see 30-60 days delays if the bank sees progress being made.
While possible, it doesn't seem like the bank has had this review time. I guess one can just watch for the sale and see if it takes place.
