My husband and I have made an offer on a short sale home in Washington state. Our offer has been accepted by the bank, but the seller is refusing to supply the lender with the needed hardship letter and income information. The bank is eager to sell us the house, but if they are forced to foreclose, how long will that process take? We have been waiting on the seller for two months already and aren't sure how much longer we should keep trying.
