My dad and mom divorced about 5 years ago. My mom in the divorce papers left everything to my dad, house included. My dads house was foreclosed on a few months ago and had to move out. There is some money now sitting there waiting to be claimed by him, and my mom says she gets half. I don't think she should get it cause she left everything to him and in the divorce papers she left the house to him, so therefore also leaving him with that money, right? Can someone please point me in the right direction for answers on this, I don't know where else to go....thank you.
