Need some clarifications...
1...If house was paid off ...why is it in foreclosure.
2...Did you do refinance to get the $$$ for the addition?
3. If so that may be the reason for the foreclosure.
4. You may be receiving info so that the lender can say the "Notified All Interested Parties" which is a part of the foreclosure process. Do not know where you are and you may be in a community property state and in fact have an interest even though you are not on title.
