For the date, in Michigan, I believe that you should contact
the registrar or deeds, of the county in which the property
is located. As for when you should leave, I would leave
before the end of the redeption period. If you stay beyond
the end of the redeption period, the lender can begin an
unlawfull detainer suite. This is eviction, it can make
renting a place, especially from the larger propery managers,
more difficult.
