Maybe indirectly. By that I mean that because there is no kitchen per sec, the house will probably sell at a major discount. And that could possibly lead to a deficiency judgement should there not be enough money from the future sale to cover costs.
But just so you know I work with many a property that has become bank owned and the condition...sometimes terrible. And they don't hunt the people down :>)
As mentioned in an earlier discussion this is more of an ethical issue. And your circumstances indicate that you are not doing this deliberately.
