Redemption expiration and eviction....

We are approaching the end of our redemption period here in Michigan. We have opted to let the home go and have basically lived here to save money over the last 5 months. My question is this: On the day that the redemption expires what can I expect? Will the sheriff's dept be here that day to set out our stuff or will there be some kind of notification before it gets to that extreme? We are in Michigan.
