I got out of the military a year ago. At the time i seperated i was facing a divorce, unbelievable debt and had no job prospects. I am still in debt and owe 14K on a repossed vehicle. The house was purchased while i was overseas in the military, by my ex wife. I had arranged a VA loan only to find out that when i had returned it was changed to a varible interest rate loan. I could not continue to make the payments on a military salary and let it slip further and further into debt. I tried to sell the property but only had one bid for 20K less than it was appraised and i had paid for it. I am currently back overseas working as a civilian trying to clear up the debt as much as possible. I started with the highest interest rate and worked my way down the list. Now all i have left is the repossed vehicle and whatever happens to the property.
