This is still your house. They will have to put things back to the way that they were.

Non-legal opinion, of course. But I regularly check on houses for banks after payments are missed. We usually do what is called a "drive by inspection". If a property does appear to be abandoned I would report this to the lender and await instructions. If the house were for sale, however, it is never considered abandoned even if vacant. Things have to be very obvious that the house is truly abandoned before a rekey takes place.

Think you got a rookie this time. Sorry. Saw a case a year or so ago where the rookie agent even had all the furnishings taken out of the house and given away. The people were just gone on a two week vacation.

So things could be worse:>)

You need to call the lender immediately and raise some cane.
