What is the proper way to approach the people that live in the house (for which you just won the bid on @ the auction) We are the new owners and this house we just purchased @ auction is occupied. We have no idea who lives there, the owner or the renters (although there is no homeowner's exemption on the property tax bill therefore we think the property is rented out)
We have been warned (by the trustee) about the owner being a "nut" - should we hire an attorney and proceed with eviction or would you suggest different aproach at first.
We were thinking about just knocking on the door, introducting ourselves and trying to find out what the situation is(who are the people leaving there)and make arrangements for move without serving the eviction notice at first. Please advise ASAP
