The answer is yes, they can do all of that if they go after the deficiency judgment. Most people will have to file Ch 7 BK to get rid of the lingering Foreclosure issues. The good news is most Mortg. Co's won't go after the deficiency... they will most likely report their losses as income to you to the IRS.
