Going through a foreclosure with Countrywide and live in New York State. Typically, does Countrywide seek a deficiency if the defendent has no assets? But does have a job. What normally happens to people who Countrywide goes after? I know the home will not sell for what I owe them due to the falling value of homes in my neighborhood. Besides, they let me borrow what I believe is over 100% value on the home.
