No, I am in Alabama and was able to purchase another home prior to the foreclosure when I found work about 200 miles from where I was laid off/living. Only one house foreclosed and knock on wood the only one in my life. I don't ever want to go through that again. After reviewing my credit report, it appears that the FC paid off the first and all of the second mortgage (80/20 through same lender) with the exception of $5500. I plan to pay that when asked, which may or may not happen.
